Yeah but it was big government getting in the way by mandating they get a better ventilation system at the businesses expense.

It's the way things are supposed to work, Robs.

The far left would have them shut down because bacon is bad for you.

What line of reasoning does the left have to tell other people what to do?

This is more a statement.

Because you can't be trusted to know what's good for you, silly.

I guess no Muslims complained because that would have shut the place down for good.

On present-trends, the middle class in California simply won't exist in another 20 years or so. You'll be left with a kind of Left Coast version of Brasil: a small handful at the top and a huge mass of people (largely unemployable; a substantial # of whom won't be able to speak English) on bottom. Democrats will have an even tighter grip on all political power than they do now. GOP will be very fortunate if it can hang on in Orange County. Except for a few other rural/small-population areas, the GOP will disappear in that state.

That's exactly what they are going for. It's a mini communist country. Meanwhile their refugees are showing up all over the country ready to continue their alliance to the Democrats. Spreading their progressive joy.

Not all of them. Many have been chastened by experience and are seeking a fresh start in a place that is un-California as possible.

I hope those are the ones showing up here because they are everywhere. They leave their Cali license plates on the front of their cars. That kinda ticks me off.

The HC shut them down since May. Who is going to compensate the owner and employees for their lost wages? GD bureaucrats have no respect for anyone trying to make a damn living. The sheer idiocy of this story boils my damn blood.
