A friend who graduated from Mary Washington just said that they will have football in a few years. I am sure they will make a fine addition to the CAA at that point.

A friend of mine said an SEC invite for JMU is pending....

UMW is Div III. There's no chance they're going Div I. This type of thread just clutters up the board.

We better hurry up before cusa wants that hot Fredericksburg tv market. Hell, they're close enough to be able to "claim DC".

JMU can claim about 5-10 sets of TV eyes max in Fredericksburg, judging by alumni & Duke Club participation here.

What the hell are you? A West Pointian?

I actually transferred from UMW to JMU because they lacked school spirit. I know that they are big on Lacrosse but again they are Div.III. However, academically, UMW is respectable to say the least.
