Any idea as to why? Was the demand that great, are they trying to get certain prospects a date where they can attend, etc?

It really was well-run. Maybe someone needs the cash.

I was on campus with the Little Smaug during one of the camps, and while eating lunch in the commons, we watched Foz, Swing, and Purifoy herding a bunch of little kids around.

It was pretty much awesome.

I wish they would take 7 year olds.

Gotta give you that one.

My son attended one of the previous camps this summer (and last). It is a really well-run camp. However, without additional detail about how this camp differs from the others, I don't see many parents shelling out $115 for 2 days of basketball 2 weeks prior to school starting back. Just my $0.02, but they should advertise it as a specialty camp for shooting, drills, etc...

Back in the stone ages, I think we had the Gene Bartow camps within a few weeks of being out of school. I may be wrong though since it was many moons ago.

As a parent now, it would be hard to shell out that kind of money right before school though with all of the fees and stuff that you have to pay in school.

Of course, there wasn't as many camps out there back then as there are now.

I took it as the reason they formed another camp was because more people wanted to sign up for the previous camps than they had spots available.
