I'd add Blake Bell as a darkhorse.

Quote:Marqise Lee (WR USC)- If it wasn't for the coaching change at Oregon, I may have gone with Marcus Mariota here, but as it stands, I chose USC's Marquise Lee.

Don't agree with that rationale. If this writer is worried about coaching, well, put it this way, Oregon could change head coaches every week and they'd still have a better head coaching situation than USC...

I sure hope so. I think this is the year he will really shine.

Lol I have to agree there.. I can't stomach Lane Kiffin but I think the writer may be unsure if Oregon's O can still be as potent without Kelly.. but no matter who is the coach in Eugene they have a leg up on Kiffin for sure haha

I'm sorry, but this is one thing I hate. The Heisman shouldn't be an award that has candidacies. We shouldn't even consider who might win it until half the season is over when we have actual performances to evaluate. It has become a real dog and pony show that overlooks many who are more deserving than the 5 or 6 ESPN chooses to push and talk about weekly. Let's wait and see who comes through with great seasons.

Clowney winning it would really bring the lulz.

I would love nothing more than to hear him give a speech, unadulterated, for 10-15 minutes.

Yeah I agree with you.

These lists are such a crapshoot. No one predicted any of the last three winners going into the season. It's just as likely that someone comes from out of nowhere to win it again this season.
