Marshall isn't interested in troubled running Michael Dyer.

"No one at Marshall has spoken to him," said MU athletic director Mike Hamrick.

Hamrick denied reports by ESPN.com's Joe Schad that Marshall and UAB were on the former Auburn star's short list or that MU had shown interest in Dyer.

He's good, I'll grant you that, but I think he would have destroyed the chemistry of this team. (Although I hate to agree with Chuck...it doesn't happen often.)

I don't see any quotes in that article from Hamrick denying Schad's report or saying Marshall has no interest in Dyer. That's a lot to infer from "no one from Marshall has spoken to Dyer" even by Chuck's standards.

I don't expect Dyer to end up at Marshall but no one from Michigan had spoken to Rich Rod either, remember.

I still think the Fuente machine is trying to sell it to the decision-makers at Memphis.
