Calling All Students
How many students go to college in Norman, Oklahoma? A little over 21,000 (wikipedia)

How many students attend college in Stillwater, Oklahoma? Answer: about 23,500.

How many students attend college in Tulsa, Oklahoma? Answer: about 35,000 plus.

So why don't we just make students at TU, ORU, TCC etc "TU students for the day" on TU FB game days? Give them access to campus activities in some form. A student section reserved for them and them only - if they pre-register by a certain date or even on line and even assign some free parking in a reserved lot just for them or run buses from their campus. IMO all we need to do is "attract" fans especially the kids that don't have a CFB team to root for in person. Adopt TU for the day so to speak. For ORU, we could set up a coalition with them where we actually exchange tickets - TU CFB for ORU Baseball or they could designate games for TU students in exchange for those ORU kids that attend a TU game.

If we could pull in a few thousand extra students, that is a way of not only increasing attendence, but encouraging young people who aren't students at present time to become future TU fans.

RE: Calling All Students
ORU kids wouldn't be able to stay at any evening games past 8:30 (they have to been in their rooms by 9pm).

I like the idea of offering TCC students passes though. That would be a good way to get more students there.

Now that's the kind of ideas needed.....give the TCC students, $1 tickets with a student ID or to start with let them in free and try to build a fan base!!!! I hope this idea is passed along to the new AD or Marketing Director. Heck, if they made signs that were put up on their campus, that in itself would be good advertising!!!!

RE: Calling All Students
I agree with promoting TU football for TCC students or other students of local colleges that don't have football programs. I would set the price at $5 per ticket.

I think that is a long overdue idea that would help grow our fan base.
