If for no other reason, I'd love for ECU to get the nod just to see the tarheel and pack fans head's explode. It would be an amazing meltdown to witness. The sec sticking one to the acc.

They are talking about the special recognition TX gives Texas A&M and UT-Austin as the state's Flagship Universities, rather than just the Flagship school of an individual system.

Tech is only a flagship of the Tech system, not of that state. That applies only to UT and A/M.
