I am not saying we get him, but according to ESPN the number two receiver has us on his list (even thought he has a lot of teams). He is the 28th best player in the nation. I dont even care if we get him I am just excited to see us on his list! It looks like the recruits that are interested in us are getting better! The future is very bright!

I love your Clarance Saunders photo. The Packers had just won their first NFL Championship the week before and was undefeated before coming to town and playing the Tigers. The team was actually asked to join the NFL but turned down the offer right before they folded.

Thanks. Saunders put the team together to churn up publicity for his supermarket chain. He turned the NFL down because he didn't like to travel. Saunders was a genius innovator, but he sure missed that boat.

Another report I read years ago stated that he didn't join because he could make more money, and have less expense playing area semi-pro clubs and college teams. He didn't believe pro football would catch on.
