He was like 1/11 in the 2nd half for -1 yards. I hated the game plan, but that's bad.

It is but that's like saying a RB had a bad day because he had 3 carries for 4 yards.

No it's like saying a running back had a bad day for having 11 carries for -1 yards.

There were at least 3 dropped passes - though I don't know what half they were in. So he would have been 9/16 instead of 6/16. Still bad, but not horrific.

If the Huskies play up to their capabilities and don't stray away from what they're good at they should have a good chance at winning. It might be a high scoring game be use of our " retooling" defense, but I think the Huskies should be able to score more points. It's what they do.

I can tell you what "their" game is. Iowa is going to try to control the clock with bread-and-butter plays on offense and a stingy defense. Iowa will want to keep Lynch on the sidelines for as long as they can. A "boring" game is Iowa's game. I am more worried about Iowa's defense than their offense.

If the Huskies decide to "open up" the offense and go no-huddle, they could be playing into Iowa's hands. Turnovers could kill. The Huskies need to show they can move the ball early in the game. Either doing it by large chunks, or small increments will do.

A high scoring game favors the Huskies. A low scoring game favors the Hawkeyes.

If NIU decides to open it up and go no huddle? You do realize NIU never ever huddles, right?

Haha, right?....thought that was widely known GIVEN jordan's comments about "bringing FSU down to their knees"
