Yeah, this makes me nervous. Clearly we've been able to recruit quality talent at QB, but aren't developing them adequately. Mickey's offensive style and commitment to an average QB like Thorpe might have cost us the chance at two FBS caliber QBs.

A lot is riding on Birdsong (especially if LT can't stay healthy), let's hope O'Cain is the one working with him over the summer.

Is JMU a JUCO school for FBS QBs? Honestly though how many FCS schools can say they have had two QBs call in plays and then transfer to FBS schools? (Granted they might never play but besides that)

Also interesting that UH doesn't say Billy played at JMU but does mention K State.

I forgot Thorpe had that extra year at Virginia State...such a weird turn of events for all of these guys. Don't forget that JMU also has a QB on their roster who was a 4 star recruit that committed to an SEC school. That QB has yet to play a down.
