I recently made a bet with a fairly ignorant young man. This man, who's name i will not post on here, bet $100 that MTSU would have 4 players drafted into the NBA. I agreed to the wager.

After the draft, this young man blocked me on twitter, as well as the twitter account for our Independent Student Group, The Red Riot. The discussion about the draft started with them, and I took over to attempt to silence his stupidity. They attempted to contact him in my stead ( I was blocked), and he blocked them.

I have called MTSU fans a lot of things. They are a lot of low down things, but a welch?

There is only one thing lower than a welch. Other than a "man" who would lay his hand on a woman or child, this is the basement. Someone who commits to an agreement, then refuses to pay on a debt. This is beyond pathetic. You should be EMBARRASSED. I hope this weighs on you. In just over a year. We will return to playing Middle, and your name will be on a giant poster. "_____ _________ IS A WELCH". You should be more than embarrassed.

I am sorry to come on here and do this, but I know this young man probably reads this site.

A few things. This is not the place. Secondly welching is hardly the third most crappy thing a person can do. Additionally it was clearly never a serious bet, and for you to A: believe it was, and B: to try to collect shows a level of childishness I have rarely encountered.

Honestly, i would say it is. Short of hitting a woman or child and murder, welching is it. It is lying, cheating, stealing, cowardice, and so much more. By the sound of you, i would say you have welched on a few bets.

The guy is utterly delusional. He cannot believe that Tony Mitchell was drafted because UNT sucked last year. He thought that since they had a good season that all of their senior starters would be drafted.

He constantly make ludicrous statements, i told him to put up or shut up, so he seemingly put up. But then he welched because he figured out how ignorant he was.

I asked for the bet, he accepted. I asked if he said he was sure, he said yes. We made general arrangements to make collections. It was a serious bet. It was very serious.

I am not throwing a temper tantrum. I simply used a website which i am sure is mutually used by the 2 parties. He blocked my twitter account, had me thrown off the MTSU board, and refuses to talk to me and admit that he is a welcher. This is the ONLY avenue left. I don't even care about the money now. I am getting a huge kick out of it. Doesn't matter to me what you think, this is a public forum and you are not a mod or admin, nor are you in this conference, or have a dog in the race...

I called him out on the CUSA board. It was DJ Bowers, DJ_mtsufan (close) on BRZ. I do not know if he has an account here, but have heard him mention reading the site.

He makes UK fans seem t have reasonable expectations. hen i say delusional i do not mean that as incapable of making reasonable choices. Just that he has unreasonable expectations of his team, something many fans (myself at times) would be guilty of.

I actually made a bet with a UK friend of mine that WKU would win the SBC Tourney and PLay in the NCAA. Made this the night of the UofL game in Nashville. Was that a crazy bet at the time? he thought so. A couple of months later i was eating steak dinner on his bill (filet mignon, wrapped in bacon, bleu cheese butter. baked potato on the side, no sour cream). He truly believed that WKU was finished. I made a bet that, to him, was unreasonable. DJ Bowers is a pathetic coward. Could not even just own up and say, wow i was an idiot. There was no trolling, go look at his tweets, he was dead serious. @dj_mtfan
