Exclamation 3 Tigers on Phil Steele's Draft Eligible Player List
This list takes into account all levels of college football:

#37 RB'S. T.West

#32 CB'S J.Love
#42 CB'S T.Smith

Nice to get some recognition but we have some unfinished business to take care of this year. Surprised our offensive line isn't getting a bit more recognition from the preseason watch lists. Nothing wrong with coming into the season with the feeling of being overlooked...controlled aggression (formerly known as violence) and just a slight bit of anger from last years selection committee 03-wink. This is going to be fun!

I would recommend that Coach Ambrose goes old school and gives out Skull and Cross Bone Decals for big plays. However, in this politically correct world Tiger Paws would suffice!

T. West is a beast. I think he'll rack up significant yardage in your FCS OOC, and maybe even @ UCONN. He put up 50+ yards against LSU, so why not?

With our entire Oline returning ...a 2,000 yard season wouldn't be out of the question. I really think Harris is underrated, the kid plays to the echo of the whistle and has the versatility to play multiple positions. It was a brilliant move by Coach Ambrose to move him to tackle prior to facing LSU's (Mingo), who's pretty much a pure speed rusher but with freakish quickness, where Montgomery was a legit bruising prototypical DE. Nonetheless, Harris and Pike did a fantastic job neutralizing both future NFL players.

The LSU game really feels like a game changer for this program, we now know we can match up physically with the best. No, smoke and mirrors finesse type offense, we've shown we can run the ball time after time at will. There is nothing a defense can do if they can't stop the run when they know you are going to run. It gets to a point where you can see their will is broken and they want to "tap out".

The LSU game definitely impressed me. As you said, it speaks volumes of the program's progress and potential that you were able to keep the pressure on a team full of NFL prospects. On top of that, you kicked a hornet's nest on the way in and stayed competitive in one of the most imposing game-time atmospheres in college football. I think you'll chip apart CAA rush defenses, and even the stoutest ones will find it difficult to limit your offensive capabilities.

It was an amazing experience to be at that game, the who dat nation was in a bit of shock that night. I would trade having a shot to knock off an LSU over making/winning a FCS Championship anytime. ODU made a great move going to Conference USA, and love the schedule that y"all are playing this year.

Perhaps, we"ll meet up in the same conference again when everything shakes out with realignment... it sure looks like division I is moving to three tiers.

I hope we get to line up against each other again at some point. The record is 1-1 and "4th and 29" still stings.
