Yes, and this is what people don't understand. We've got to get this program off life support first. And quite frankly, whatever that takes, we have no choice. We may not like some of the things we have to do, but there simply is no other option.

I liked CDC personally, and thought he had a lot of positives. But don't think for one minute that he didn't have his share of warts too - cut in stipends being one of them.

RE: 2013 Coaches Caravan Details
For those of us who were unable to attend any of the caravans, can anyone who attended provide some additional details?
On page three of this thread and yet to read one post with anything of substance from the Caravans (e.g., players who could breakout, thoughts on some of players in new positions, guys healthy, changes in approach/schemes, color commentary on schedule, anything different from last year, etc.).. hope we can move on about more tired posts of past w/ CDC, RG, etc. and channel energy about the present and future season

In FW, the QandA period was very short and very vague. i asked if the graduation of the tight end trio would mean we would throw more to the wide outs. the response was that we throw to the uncovered player, that the throws to Jordan in the bowl were dictated by AFA's determination to NOT be beaten by McD and Willson. Mello was very high on Darik Dillard.

In Austin Bailiff addressed the tight end question by saying Conner Cella was a special player (RS freshman) and that Adding ton was now a TE/H-back and would be productive. He also lauded the running backs mentioning Ross, Peterson and Hamilton. Asked about QB he said McHargue was the starter and Jackson would play some.

When I talked to him about punting he said Decell had a great leg, but as was mentioned here last year his problem is still that it takes him too long to get the punt away. This would seem to be a fixable problem and hopefully he is making strides this summer in rectifying the situation.
