Republicans have victims also. Nobody would vote for either if they didn't feel disenfranchised in some way. There would be no need to band together with in a common interest if they didn't feel like they were the victims or under the threat of becoming victims of something.

If nobody felt under threat they wouldn't vote.

I agree. It just seems like the right is more of a victim of the government than The left and the left thinks theyre victims of the right. I vote to protect myself from the abuses of government. The left thinks they're protecting themselves from me. Stupid.

A) see California/colorado. People left California in droves and moved to Colorado because it was a successful business state, but they brought their agenda with them and basically turned Colorado to a California-light.

B) Dallas Fort Worth and Austin are extremely liberal "meccas" within the conservative boundaries of the conservative state of Texas.

I live in DFW. This area is not liberal at all.

There are certain pockets of DFW that are solidly Democratic, like the ones you mention. But overall (7+ million people), DFW is probably the most conservative large metropolitan area in the country.
