RE: tailgate parking spots
If spots match what they actually line off, looks like we're losing the "grilling setup spot" to the Optometry group (or the medical that sets up next to us) IIRC they had 46-47. Plenty of parking spots along 8th Ave available to buy. The people who set up next to us at the spring game (son plays on team, #70 IIRC) also look to be out of luck as they had the tree spot last year.

RE: tailgate parking spots
While there is still time to work out the details, what about a "kitty" in a central location (bank, whatever) to which we can donate for the general welfare of the Blazer Talk Tailgate group. So far we have operated like a church pot-luck supper with some few contributing much and others very little (like myself who often arrives late). When I have asked to whom I might make a donation, I am shunted from one to another with each expressing a reluctance to accept any cash. I appreciate the generosity of all of you, but we need to try to lessen the unequal burden on the few who do the most. Surely there is a way this can be done without great duress. (Yes, i know I called you Shirley)

Blazerjay & I are thinking of changing that due to as you said the expenses involved that he & I pay for our different parts. We've discussed it some but nothing concrete yet & don't know when. We've only partly discussed something along the lines of a few dollars per head if you don't bring anything to eat yet eat, etc

As I said, I have asked to whom I could make a contribution to the cause, but have been turned down by those to whom I have been directed. These tailgate meals should not put anyone "on the spot" or seeming to take "charity" when they have been so generous. Many may not know their fellow BTs by face or actual name, but can certainly contribute if a fund is established to soften the disproportionate load a few now bear. Does anyone have a suggestion to actually help in this matter?
