Look Jonesing, you should stay on the ECU boards. No one is going to respond positively to anything you say here. You've ruined too many threads. To the rest of the ECU fans, you can stay. Most of you are okay but Jonesing has pissed us all off on this board. it is nothing against most of you or your school.

Who we play directly affects every other team we play in this conference. I also only start about 1 thread every month or two. You are barking up the wrong tree.
Also WTF do threads like naming rights, or reputation, or all the random OT crap started on here really add to the board? It's a message board, this was a plenty relevant to CUSA topic. A UNCC fan was actually the 1st one to mention this on another thread that was quickly moved to die on the smack board a few minutes later. I thought it deserved to be pointed out and any top 5 team we potentially play will affect conference RPI and that of everyone else we play as well.
You know that I think you can be one of the biggest idiots on this board, but this is true. For this one last season, I want ECU to be as good as they can be in basketball. Find a way to pull off an upset or two in this tournament. Hopefully schedule some meaningful games OOC this season. You are right, what you do OOC directly effects every other team in the conference in terms of RPI. Best of luck in this tournament, and it is a big deal to be involved in it.

Well, to be fair, SJ earned the wrath of Niner fans by going to our board and spouting all his usual nonsense. He'd go away a little while once ECU lost, then come back again later to rehash all his statistics the Niners proved irrelevant the during the preceding game. You are right though, we should just ignore him.
As far as your jab at Niner football, enjoy our a$$ whoopings while you can because hopefully they won't last to long. Our AD is doing football right so far so hopefully that pays off in the long run.

It is not a mystery that many ECU posters has long been dissatisfied with CUSA and they have made this fact known for many years now. Many CUSA posters have grown tired of ECU posters rants about how bad this conference sucks.
ECU posters no longer wants to be associated with CUSA and CUSA posters wish negative ECU posters would just go away. Most ECU posters post here to simply antagonized others on this board. Now you got ECU posters proudly promoting their association with AAC on this board. Talk about the ultimate disrespect.
It is what it is. ECU has the AAC board to post on but for some ungodly reason they still want to post here even though they can't stand CUSA and wish to longer be a part of it.
It is like divorcing your wife but you have to live with her an additional year.

I'm also pretty sure that the Niner fans have been some of the more supportive in this thread, as far as wishing you well in this tournament. Some ECU fans have earned the wrath of Charlotte fans because they wanted to talk crap about our season after that tournament win and then they pointed fingers at us when we came back with it. Most of us would have simply wished you well if the chest beating and trash-talking hadn't been commenced by a select few.
With that said- good luck for the sake of all of those good ECU fans out there. I wish you the best and better luck than we had with Duke a few years ago (that was UGLY). For those of you who have always been and remain civil- I wish nothing but the best for you. For those of you who wanted to try to put Charlotte down after your CIT run and hope that our football falls flat on its face- whatever. Some of you are very good people and I really enjoy the fun portion of your fanbase.

Our basketball program is in a much better position than UAB, UNCC, ODU, Marshall etc moving forward. We already are winning and recruiting at worst a very similar level, and have similar facilities and support along with the biggest budget of you all. Moving to a better conference gives us the clear advantage moving forward.
This is all that really needs to be said about where our programs are right now and heading into the future when Niner fans or the random Marshall or UAB fans pipe up.
