The current North scoreboard would be moved. Part of the (pulling a number form thin air) $10mm more to "do it right" (remember those massive pilings we're now going to have to dig up to put in a tunnel) at the North (along with things like moving the pumps that I think have to stay for flood control and building/cutting a tunnel) as opposed to getting more bang for the buck at the south.

Thanks HAMMY ... you understood what I was saying 03-phew

I agree on both counts about the R room. Great views and I love the camaraderie, but can't stand the acoustics. You don't feel like you are "there".

They should consider some sort of lanai, and people can retreat to AC indoors if they need a break from the weather. Then the feel of the game could be appreciated, while still having access to the R room

Put about 150 seats in five rows in front of the R Room and just let people come and go as they need.

Good idea.... just like the suite area of most stadiums. It also has a nice "look" to it.

Given that we need a paradigm-buster and not a safe hire, this is probably not a great way to go.

My guess is that we'll probably get an older guy who has had a couple of gigs and is running out the string. Exactly what we do not need.

I would hope they'd vet him a bit extra for hints of racism, but that's probably about as far as it will go.

They do what they're paid to do. A search firm was used for the Leebron search. It's safe to say a law dean and career legal academic was not a conventional choice for Rice.
