Why is this board listed on the "inactive list?"
I mean, it's not exactly on fire or anything but I'm not sure I would call it totally inactive either. If someone were looking for a B12 board and came to CSNbbs and saw the B12 board as inactive then they might not even go any further to investigate it. How is it ever gonna get active if it's categorized as "inactive?"

Not enough posters. We don't have much traffic in here yet...
But you can change that. Just get some more B12 fans to start posting here...

I seriously doubt that any message board attained it's popularity through any one person and the "Pied Piper Effect." Two or three people begin to post and that attracts two or three more, etc. Listing the board as inactive is like saying that you give up or just don't care. Either way it's ok with me, I was just asking the question.

I didn't say you were going to be the only one. I said get some more B12 fans in here. That is something you can do...
I think you wobbled away from the last sentence there...

There's several Big XII posters, it's just that no one post any new topics on this board.

I think our biggest problem is that our potential user pool consists of a few WVU posters, a TCU poster or two, a KU poste, and perhaps a UT and TT poster. The potential appeal of this board (compared to all of the homer boards that many of us may also belong to elsewhere) is that there's potential for reasonable discussion of matters that impact the conference, plus civil discussions of results. Unfortunately, what appeals more to the masses is concentrated discussion of their own school's issues, with a modicum of smack talk thrown in.

Perhaps some people will want to discuss sports when football season rolls around...

Tis a mighty weight which has been placed on my shoulders but I will go forth and search for more B12 posters. Lord help me if I am kidnapped by the natives. I hear those savages back in the hills of West Virginia can be brutal.
