In my roundabout way to the Lion's Den this morning, I noticed the forum stats.

ODU, in its short existence as an almost-member of the C-USA, has the 3rd most posts and 3rd most threads out of all C-USA members (by a good margin).

I think this is another example of how passionate and involved ODU fans are. It's wonderful to have such an active community of Monarch fans, and I hope this continues and grows in the future.

Some of those schools have other active boards.....but then so does ODU.

I am a little surprised at UNCC's position, especially with the very first football game nearly at hand.

Great observation, Monarchs!

UNCC has a thriving board at ninternation.net . I know that it's more active than Monarch Nation.

It would be nice if more CUSA fanbases moved over to CSNBBS. Too many discussion boards with the various member schools.

I agree. Incest among fanbases just ain't right.

I hope that there isn't any direct relationship between these numbers and athletic success. With the exception of baseball Rice is an athletic basket case.

This. We have several hundred active posters and hundreds more that lurk around and only post occasionally over at Niner Nation.

We pretty much only use our board here when Niner Nation goes down.

NN.N has a shoutbox that a lot of us regulars use to chat with each other during the day. Unless the admin here wants to add a shoutbox to our board here, I doubt we'll ever migrate over here in mass. We'll stick to the CUSA general board.

You might find this interesting. Lists the forums with the most posts in the last 15 minutes or 24 hours. Keep in mind that some of the larger fanbases has sub-forums.

I meant Monarchfans.com. ODUlionsden is really our name here on csnbbs.com.

I think maybe the Rice and UAB boards were around before csnbbs.com. Of course, CUSA has been around for a while, so those school's fans may have been on here for quite some time. Some of us were 'zonies, then monarchnation, and now monarchfans in addition to this CUSA forum.

GTS has fixed the Vitality feature. :)
