That's a sweet thing to have a high ranking player on the D side of the ball. They eat up a lot of territory.

We are very lucky to have Jimmie Ward. Dude has 200 tackles in his two years as a starter. He has forced a lot of turnovers and blocked 4 punts. Extremely instinctive. A fan favorite of the Huskies. Back to the rockets, I bet Fluellen is 5, I bet he's higher than Blankenship but lower than Lynch, Archer, Mack, and Nix. Still very solid company. There should be 4 Nunley, Ward, and Nix and Mack to come, defensive players in the top 10 from my math, which for the MAC is pretty solid.

FLU at 3 is my prediction. Only Nix and Lynch beat him out.

Ahead of Archer? I'd be surprised but it would be nice recognition.

Top 68 MAC FB Player Countdown @ Hustlebelt
Lynch, Archer and Nix are most likely 1-3. Who does that leave at #4?

Should be Khalil Mack, the bad-ass LB from Buffalo.

Played off the BSU receivers and let Wenning have all day to pass the FB. I watched Army against the Cards the week prior. They did a much better job of getting to the BSU QB than UT. Wenning passed for 100 yards less and 2 TD's instead of 3. Combine that with not being dialed in against Ball State and looking forward to the next week's game@NIU. 110 yds in penlties, a 54 yd fumble return by BSU that set up a FG, gambling on 4th and 1 instead of getting a FG. Of course the season long injury to Owens, missing something like 3 of 4 top DL certainly hurt.
Lot's of critical mistakes by the Rockets, staff included.
