Doubtful. I just don't think you put Brady on the bench for any meaningful play in a game. Tebow has a two year non-guaranteed contract, so it's really a no risk situation for the Patriots.

If anything, I really think Belichick might want to get Tebow a TD against the Jets just out of spite.

Until Tebow decides that he doesn't have to be a QB, his NFL future will be bleak.

I'm thinking Tebow is glad to have another year of NFL income. If the Pats want him in the wildcat or an option look or at whatever position, I'm thinking he will line up there.

It's a paycheck thing, you do what the guy pays you to do or you get gone.

Add to that the fact that Tebow comes from a family of Christian missionaries so it is not like it is for some NFL players. Many others have no idea where to go if cut out of the NFL. Tebow has a very clear alternative as a "star" in a ministry somewhere. He has done nothing to "foul his nest" for the future.
