RE: AAC Commissioner Aresco's Memphis Interview
Two points I gleaned from that interview that weren't quite that clear before:

1. The emphasis Aresco gave to the Liberty Bowl is either a sign that we're close to getting at least a rotational share of it, or he is putting up a brave front in the face of more futility. Unlike GA, I don't think it's certain, but this gives me the feeling we have a good shot, even with the B12 in one slot, and the SEC and the ACC sniffing around the other.

2. Aresco sounded definite that the AAC will create its own digital network. Great news, as long as it works a lot better than CUSA's.

Thanks for posting the links GA.

I hope our television exposure is as good as he says it is. When he mentioned networks and national platforms he included ESPNU, and that doesn't give me a good feeling.

RE: AAC Commissioner Aresco's Memphis Interview
I am still hoping to hear some kind of agreement with Sirius/XM for broadcasts of all AAC games in football and basketball.

I also remain interested in a AAC network that feeds all conference video boards for conference member game updates and other scores around the country.

The old "jumbotron" had that the first year it was in operation but the deal fell apart because of money or some other reason I have long forgotten now.

Being on ESPNU is 20 times better than being on CSS any day of the week.
