It is nice to hear that they had interest in the guy but still requested transcripts to make sure he was academically viable. Granted that is probably standard procedure but sometimes it feels like in todays game that schools will take anybody regardless of grades.

Sounds like that pole has some real historical value! I am glad they are not just chucking it and have decided to preserve some of the town's history. We are too eager sometimes to make new and always think that change and shiny new is always better. Thanks for posting....
