So you admit that this is corruption and a crime, but you don't want anything done about it. Why is that? When I don't "mind" corruption is when it doesn't exist. By that I mean, most of the complaints about things like KBR and other similar situations arise from a laziness within the government. By that I mean, when it puts out an RFP for services, it requires that the companies submitting bids be capable of providing ALL of the services required... and they can't be foreign owned... which pretty well eliminates all but the largest and most diverse of corporations already involved in doing similar things. Even amongst integrated oil companies, few US companies can do all that was required because a decent chunk of what was required wouldn't be necessary for a US oil company. FTR, Obama and Clinton got as much $$ from and gave as much work to most of those companies as Bush, but Republicans didn't whine about it when they did because there isn't an alternative and Dems kept quiet when it was THEIR guy doing it. Personally, I think the rules are wrong and should be changed, but obviously they aren't going to.
Feinstein's husband's owns a construction business that landed a nearly $1 trillion contract to build rail costing $35 million per mile. Now apparently he also owns a real-estate business that landed a contract to sell foreclosed FDIC properties and now the USPS properties.
Now, in complete fairness... The companies he owns are huge and are among the biggest and baddest boys on the block. CBRE is a name every one of us has likely seen on large commercial properties... you know, kinda like KBR and Halliburton... with the evidence being that the largest recipient of military contracts under Obama are the same guys as under Bush...
So which is it, Tom? I see you asking R's for their outrage over KBR... where is yours about this?
What I REALLY don't understand is how the left can embrace Feinstein and her husband and Kerry and his wife, but eschew Romney and others almost entirely based on wealth. I guess the same way Bush is a moron and Kerry smart, though they got virtually identical grades from the virtually identical classes from the same university.

+35,000,000 per mile
Unless you think it is the government being so large and requiring so much of a company that it shuts out little guys and pretty much puts the money in the same few hands, while blaming those same people for the problem it causes.
