Three of our last 5 defensive outs have come on Oregon bunts. Aside from those bunts, they've had 7 hits in their other 9 at bats over these last two innings. So... thanks Ducks.

Oregon's bats have found an awful lot of holes today.. hopefully that balances out.

AK threw 100+ pitches on Friday afternoon. I just cannot see him starting tomorrow, unless the game plan is to limit him to 3 innings, and then hand the ball over the Zech for as many innings as it takes. Austin's normal bullpen day would have been Tuesday, correct? I think the smarter move is to have him close.

As I said earlier, I fully expect Horton to go back to Reed, who only pitched 5 innings in the opener on Friday.

That inning was WAY too short.

So was our offensive gameplay today to gift wrap the game for Oregon?

Reed threw 7 innings.

I don't know how long he can throw, but I would keep him in his usual routine of starting and try to get us off to a good start.

It's frustrating enough to give up so many runs, but not putting up any kind if fight at the plate is inexcusable.

Oregon is the team that had to play the extra game, right?

It really won't matter who we start if we don't have an offensive explosion of our own this weekend. But I would start McCanna or McDowell, whomever doesn't pitch tonight.

Hope someone brought the degaussing wand for overnight so we can wake up our bats.
