Game 7 - There is nothing better than playoff hockey between two Original 6 teams in the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Black Hawks.

I'm all over it. This biddy should be over already. One of the best refs in the bidness made a bizarre ruling that robbed the B'hawks of the go-ahead goal with 1:47 left. This will be a huge hockey story, if Detroit wins in OT, meaning no one gives a flying rat's asterisk probably, save for 2.7% of the nation, if that much.

No harm was done in the filming of Chicago's incredible comeback from down 3-1. Geeked to see PUCK mentioned at this great board!

Well, it all worked out.

Great drama in a game 7 OT. 420+ minutes of hockey boils down to first team to score.

Kings Hawks will be monstrous hockey. LA is wicked.

Edit: cool STAT. The Frozen Four are the previous four Cup winners.

I love hockey. Even growing up in Mempho, my Dad would take us to Atlanta to watch the old Atlanta Flames in the early 80's.

I've been to games in the Omni, Checkerdome (Blues), Chicago Stadium and UC (Hawks). A month ago I visited my brother in Raleigh and took in a Canes-Flyers game.

It's the best sport live IMO. Go Black Hawks.

I'm not Triple A old, but I am old enough to remember going to Memphis South Star games at the MSC.

Chicago Stadium and the Montreal Forum were the two best places to watch hockey in the history of the game. When you have really good seats, it is incredible how fast the game is, and how hard they hit and shoot.

Don't watch hockey, but I do watch these game 7s. Probably the best thing in sport drama wise.

As a HUGE Wings fan, that was a tough one to take. Nothing like a game 7. I knew going back there for a game 7 was going to be damn near impossible. But we have a great, young core to build on and a great one in the net. Looking forward to next year!

When football and baseball players play hard there is still time to rest between plays and pitches. Even NBA players never seem to really really be giving it their all. Hockey is different because the players are on the ice one minute at a time and play like it's the last shift of the season.

Playoff hockey is special. There is no way any hockey player could play like that the entire regular season. There wouldn't be any players left with 1/4 of the schedule left.

No doubt. Also, as you mentioned having the right seats is important to understand how fast the game is, I am always impressed with the artistry of the game, especially the tic-tac-toe passing on rushes and power plays.

A lot of my buddies give me crap when i say this, but I think they are the most elite athletes in the world.

They are some golfing mothers, I can tell you that, 24. Be careful betting baseball players and hockey players on the links -- major league ones, anyway. Baseball players have the turn down and hockey players have the wrist, not that each doesn't have a little of the other.
