RE: Phil Steele's Pre-Season AAC Teams
not too surprising, our best player is our QB and though he may or may not be better that bridgewater, no one was unseating bridgewater from first team preseason after the great finish to the season he and louisville had last year. I am surprised we have so many defensive players on some of the teams, especially in the secondary which is supposed to be our weakest unit.

USF always seems to have good players I've never heard of. Especially on the defensive line. As soon as I think they will take a step back on the line they always have replacements. I was surprised to see Rutgers with only 13. They have been recruiting well the last couple of years. I know they lost a bit last year though.

Cincinnati's entire OL (with the exception of OT Parker Ehinger who was selected to the AP Freshman All-America team last year) are listed on 1st or 2nd team. I'm excited for this season...we'll at least be able to run the ball somewhat.

Well with Charles Sims leaving Houston, that moves up Storm Johnson, so I guess we've got a whopping 1 first teamer.

I wouldn't sweat it to much. Rarely do the preseason guys stay on the first team. I'm sure some will but other guys will step up.

Kay is a stud, too. The conference title is going to come down to that last game at the Nip vs. Louisville.

RE: Phil Steele's Pre-Season AAC Teams
I am surprised UConn managed to get three players on the first team list. Our roster is somewhat devoid of talent, at least on offense. Weist will have to be a miracle worker if we want to get to a bowl game.

UCF has a nice roster. I am stunned with their lack of representation but Steele has always been unorthodox...doesn't make him right.
