He would be a great hire....A NBA and NIke Skills trainer and works with the Best NBA Skills trainer in the Bizz with Ganon Baker....Simon is a teacher and A recruiter....End of Story....A homerun hire he would be....All for one, One for all, All for Memphis....The World Is Ours Memphis....

I'm not negative...I just don't think that Memphis needs another coach from Arizona....Simon doesn't have the best rep and his personality leaves a lot to desire.....not a good fit for the "type" of kids we have....Damon and him are totally different.

CJP needs a Damon type personality on the bench....Damon was absolutely huge.

the man was a AAU coach. His California Supreme team didn't/doesn't have the Div 1 talent that other AAU squads have...and yet they are winning.
THAT is the mark of a good coach. A man who can take lesser talents...and still beat more talented teams. THAT is the kind of guy you do want coaching your kids.
The man is not a saint, nor is he perfect. No one is. Damon Stoudamire, while a good coach...wasn't a saint either. But he has shown himself to be worth of being redeemed...and to be redeemed.
Who is to say that Miles Simon may not be just as deserving of such a chance?
With the exception of the Luke Walton hire....Coach Pastner has made some pretty astute judgement calls so early in his coaching career.
If he hires Simon....I will trust his judgement....as unlike you, he has the program's best interests at heart.

This and what Earthbound posted. We have the recruiters on the team. Simon, by all accounts, is a good Xs and Os guy. Hope he's hired as the 3rd assistant.

Miles Simon has "NOT" been out of coaching for awhile first off.....He is and has been a NIke and NBA Skill trainer for Ganon Baker's team since his days at Arizona, and has been Coaching AAU ball with the California Supreme, and knows everyone you need to know on the AAU curcuit....I been saying Josh wants and will Hire A recruiter and Teacher, with Big time ties on the AAU curcuit......Miles Simon is just that.....Guru has praised his teachings....Simon has been highly regarded for his teachings at the NIke and NBA skill Competetions for some time now.....Just saying....All for one, One for all, All for Memphis....The World Is Ours Memphis....

We are talking about a job for this year and all I said was he's been saying it for a while.Never said he came up with the idea and don't care.I just know that this offseason,this dude has been saying Simon.I gave the man some dap and you don't have to rush in and correct me.Im grown
