Saturday I talked to the people over at Venture Bus Tours. They have confirmed they will be selling bus ride and ticket packages to ECU, Maryland, UNC and Pitt. Just a little bit of info to pass along for anyone that is looking to travel. Packages price has not been confirmed yet.

Sweet! We took the Venture bus trip to Villanova and it was great. No driving for us and nice, comfortable bus with TV and internet access. We will definitely be looking their way.

I believe that it was. I just saw posted that they had it. We didn't know they would have it, so we did not have a device to use it with us.

It was free on the 3 OSAL venture bus trips I did as a student (New Orleans 2010, Washington DC 2011, and Statesboro 2011)

Signal isn't the steadiest, but you are on a moving bus...

Just bought tix for the Pitt game for $2 a piece in section 138 on Stubhub. Cant beat that price. Wish they were all that cheap...

I purchased a pair in Section 114 for $3 each. Total, including fees, etc. = $15.95 Can't beat this Stubhub deal.

I'll probably end up at the Pitt game, since I'll be in town to broadcast a wrestling event that Sunday. I'm still bummed about not being able to drive to the semifinal we never made in the Fargodome.

I'm actually writing this ... inside the Fargodome right now.

StubHub has a guarantee on anything you buy so in the remote chance you get some shady ticket seller you will get your money back. I have purchased tickets to numerous Caps and Nats games from StubHub with zero issues. I also scored a sweet deal for our game at Maryland.

I purchased a ticket for a concert at the norva. When I got to the door I wasn't allowed in because they said my ticket was already used. Someone else had used the same ticket to get in. The bar code had been scanned in 20 minutes before me getting there. It was a duplicate ticket. I didn't get a refund from stubhub. Come to find out the same ticket had been sold 8x and 8 people with the same bar code ticket were denied entrance.

Speaking of Pittsburgh, I have an inquiry. Does anyone know of or have an opinion about the North Shore Saloon or Mullen's Bar & Grill @ W. General Robinson and Federal St. in Steel City? I may be staying at the Spring Hill Suites across the street (making a weekend out of it for location scouting purposes) and those seem like my my easiest eating/drinking options for the duration.

Everyone is aware that ECU tickets can basically be purchased through the school at only 45$ apiece? There is a July 31st deadline and from what I understand we are not exactly crushing it in the demand department. It's a great deal compared to stubhub for those still looking for seats.

I would have got more tickets through ODU but I only got 6. I got the other 4 through a friend w/ ECU a long time ago so I could sit with a bunch of friends. I am assuming a lot of people felt like me and my friends/family that ordering through ODU and then having to wait until 3 weeks prior to see if we had a ticket wasn't worth the 10 bucks and bought through ECU.

I don't think many people will be turned away.
