The lack of football knowledge among the FBS fan base is amazing. FBS, FCS, Div 2.....this is basic stuff people!

App averages around 30K, but yes Southern avg is about 20K. We have a lot of growing, but it does say something about a school that has so little, in a nowhere town stills almost draws as many fans even when playing actual D2 schools. Sad really.

Regardless, your comissioner would sell his soul to the devil if he could get a school like us to join the SunBelt. Hell, our endowment alone is bigger than almost every SBC school combined. Our athletic budget is 3-4 times everybody in the SBC too, hence why we buy wins in our OOC instead of having to go on the road to get destroyed by SEC teams for a paycheck.

Did you even look at stats before you commented? ASU averaged more home attendance than Houston. Get over yourself. You talk as if Houston is the top of the food chain. You obviously just talk crap without looking at facts. If we are the bottom of FBS, you are right there with us. Welcome to reality.

Your endowment is 662 million according to Wiki. USA is 415 (needs to be updated to reflect recent gifts). You have the endowment of maybe 2-3 schools.

It is sort of funny that your most consistent team over the last decade(Southern Miss) had such a great season last year. Why the f*** do you even talk trash when your team was below 500. Also, the lowly division 2 team(App St.) had a higher home attendance than Houston. What was that about reality? Either you are just trying to rile people or you are simply delusional.

Southern Miss isn't an AAC school and most likely will never be one because we don't want some hick Mississippi school in the best Go5 conference. I could care less about them going 0-12, they deserved it after they pissed the entire conference off the previous year.

I agree...Southern Miss makes no sense in the Mountain West... How Houston got in that league without anyone knowing is beyond me.

Also, I was just wondering what it is like to be one of the few teams to be kicked out of major college football twice. First with the collapse of the SWC and then with the collapse of the Big East.
