Good move for the CAA, not so good for the Southern Conference. CAA strengthen themselves. They decided not to go after another northern school in Central Conn. They filled in the northern gaps with Stony Brook and Albany. This time they moved southward once again but not all the way to Georgia like they did the last time (Georgia St).

Agreed. Elon is a good move for the CAA; it gives the league more presense in a very large state southern state.
