RE: Phil Steele's Preseason MAC teams
Our special teams are highly regarded. This is quite a turnaround from a few years back when we lost games because of how bad our special teams executed. Well done coaching staff.

I agree with you. From my view, Phil Steele is ranking the special team players based on offense. If there was a ranking for the coverage team, the Rockets would be among the top, if not the top team in the MAC.

RE: Phil Steele's Preseason MAC teams
steele puts out a good mag, but his all league teams are always a bit suspect. a little too much buffalo love this yr. Brandon oliver is not a better rb than fluellen or Edwards from bsu. neuts is not a better receiver than snead from bsu and zo Russell (although he finished the yr sloppy). last yr he had womble from niu ahead of flu on the rb list. womble was a buy who had 100 career rushing yards and never even ended up playing a down last yr, but was highly rated out of hs.

how is dri archer not a first or second team return man?

Oliver is the best or second best in the MAC. He is comparable to FLU....sorry but he is. We will see this year. Both have had injury problems.
