I would laugh so hard if Vandy ever left the SEC.

Well that would just kill the SEC's GPA!

Mike Gundy is also blocking QB Wes Lunt from transferring to Southern Miss, so Oklahoma State to CUSA? Seriously, this board is getting desparate for news...

Seriously. By the way, the rumblings around here are that Pitt may have known about the transfer request before Vandy, which would assume tampering somewhere down the line. If that was the case, then I understand blocking it. If it is not the case, then Stallings either considers Pitt a legitimate threat to his recruiting or he is just being difficult. Either of the last two reasons is not acceptable considering the position of the athlete, especially when compared to how coaches move so freely.

You never know.

So you think they blocked the kid from Pitt because they plan to join the ACC?

XLance, have you been drinking?

Seems pretty obvious... Vandy suspects Pitt of tampering.

Vandy isn't leaving the SEC. But, if they did since Tennessee delivers the state it would only allow the SEC to expand its footprint by 1 new state and make more money. Plus where I come from we find it Ironic that a Lousiville poster is saying that such a move would kill the SEC's academic average. Because if the ACC took Vanderbilt it would be to try to recapture the average they had before they took Louisville.

Now see how ridiculous that line of reasoning is. I do actually think Louisville to the ACC was a great move all the way around. But you do realize that being ranked in the high 150's (Louisville) while everyone else in the ACC was ranked lower than 101 was a drag on their average?
