Potential bowl line-ups 2014-19
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/college...index.html

C-USA is not on this list, & that worries me a little. Does anyone have a clue to what our bowl tie-ins will be after this next season? Will we even come close to having 6 bowl agreements like we will in 2013?

The article said "Major Conferences." Included MWC and NOT AAC. I have said before that in the eyes of the college football world they are considered no better than CUSA.

Wrong.

"The American Athletic Conference, a.k.a. the former Big East, is largely in a holding pattern until the power-five leagues fill out their cards."

I do believe the MWC is the 6th conference listed by that article. Hence, not a Power 5. They mention the AAC by name, and mention the bowls that the Big East used to have. However, nowhere do they mention C-USA. So, how is anyone supposed come to your conclusion based on that article?

Sub the Military Bowl in Annapolis this year for the Fort Worth Armed Forces Bowl and you've got it.

CUSA could probably get a secondary tie in to the Indy Bowl

Always better to read all the way through before writing a flame comment. As some else said, the AAC was mentioned contrary to your comments.

Both of you are just spinning it the way you want to see it, obviously.

I think we'll lose the Military Bowl after this season

I think ECU fans should be banned from posting here. Yes the Pirates are still CUSA members but their posters (at least 98% of them) are simply posted here to defend their new conference or belittle CUSA. ECU posters should not be allowed to have it both ways.

Okay, your right, posters should be able say whatever they want about the AAC and the schools that are joining it( a decision by the way that none of us any control over) and none of us especially ECU fans, should be able to respond to it. Yeah great idea. This is a sports message board buddy, relax.

That will all depend on how many bowl eligible teams CUSA has after 2013. Bowls cannot sign contracts with conferences unless the conference has shown the ability to fill those slots. One of the benefits of a larger conference (and one that I never see mentioned when people talk about expanding to 16) is having more bowl eligible teams, thus having the ability to sign more bowl contracts - which is turn helps all 16 teams br providing more post season opportunity.

I think you will see CUSA, AAC, Sun Belt, & MAC create more bowl games since most of theirs are being taken by bigger conferences

ECU is all about lack of class. The AAC will be a fine home for them. When the f*#K are they leaving again?

Oh geez, another thread that turns into this?! Most ECU fans have plenty of class. Love the history we have with them. ECU and Tulsa are stuck between a rock and a hard place for the next year. I will say Tulsa fans seem to be handling it better, but that may be just bc there is less of them to cause issues?

Yep we are all about lack of class. ECU posters are attacked on a regular basics.......if one respond then that poster should be banned?????? Please. What about this stupid map that shows Cusa without ECU, Tulane, and Tulsa but includes WKU.......that is the kind of things that cause conflict, shows disrespect, and should be removed......not someone opinions on topic. Those three schools are still proud members of Cusa (2013-14) and WKU is not member yet (2014-15). Stop being haters.....put love in your heart and you will feel soooooooo much better. (Opinion)

If CUSA ends up with anything less than 6 full primary tie-ins, it should be Banowsky's head.
