At least we get em at home this season!

...at home on a Tuesday night in November at 7:30. Can't wait.

Tim Beckman is NOT that bad a coach. This is why I thought UI was a bad move for him; just a horrible place to coach.

Just needs to know when to call a TO.

Actually he came across to me as a climber.
Hope he is a saver.

03-pissed I was just thinking about that season the other day - with the robberies against UT vs. 0$U and Syracuse, then the moronic misuse of TOs against NIU. UT had the chance to go 11-1, with a trip to the MACC. SO. CLOSE. To a GREAT season. STILL pisses me off!!!
Yeah the timeouts are why you lost, not giving up 63 points.

Let's be honest here. If Toledo would have had the ball with another minute they would have won. Neither team could stop the other.

Don't confuse 7 with facts. He can't even read eastisbest's comment and get it right. He gets confused thinking DeKalb is the same thing as Northern Illinois. We can't really expect much from poor G-string.

Past G-string's bedtime I guess. When you have no clue, pretend you're sleepy. LMFAO

That is one way of looking at it :-) Myerberg must be a bit confused about which team he really thinks is better, and it sheds light on how pollsters really think. Within the analysis, he says "I think Missouri starts 4-0, sweeping its way through non-conference play". I guess they have home field advantage against us, so he could argue that point. Or, perhaps most rankings are not really about how good the teams would be head-to-head, but more about their ranking potential considering their prospective competition for the season. 10-2, 9-3 always looks good on paper.

I just hope we can get through the these first two tough road games healthy and respected. If that can happen, we will be well poised to compete for the rest of the season. If we can win one of these two games, we could be looking at a special season.

Did you notice that Utah State is #59......

Did they lose alot from last year? (besides their coach)

Well, Rutgers is number 54, NC State is 53, and BG will be 52 (from the "who's next" hint).

P.S. Just for the record, I didn't know the answer to this BG trivia, but I had a hunch it was that song with the annoying name that we finish with the C-K-S and I Googled to confirm. LOL.

Terry, they did lose a lot from last year's team including top four receivers and, of course, RB Kerwynn Williams. They return their OL which finally wore down the Rockets mid-way through the fourth quarter.

The defense lost the two standout coverage guys, CB Will Davis and FS McKade Brady. The Aggies will be good just not as good as the team the Rockets faced. Keep an eye on #16, QB Chuckie Keeton - he's the real deal.

ToledoMike is correct. The Falcons are #52.
