I was at UC back in the early 90's. The Armory was open to students to play bball and workout. I remember the cheerleaders/track teams practicing in there too.

Did anyone else play intramural indoor soccer in the Armory with the tiny soccer ball?

The UC Call Center uses the far east side of the Armory...The Track team, Football team on game days, Cheer, Dance, Twirlers, Flag corp. use it all as a back up when the arena and practice gyms are in use. It is vital to the operation of all in Athletics. The state of the Armory is horrid. The floor, the walls, the windows all need re-done. Who knows what everyone the dust and soot are so deep on the seats you cannot sit down. This place is cold and hot depending on the time of year but everyone still loves it....We just need help to fix the old gem! It would seem to be a great project for DAAP students and Engineering Students and the Athletes to all come together and offer plans, designs, and labor to make this a unique project that we can all be proud of.
