I think it is hard to feel screwed when you get 5 games for $100. Sure I would love more home games but still a great value for my entertainment $$$$.

Yea I'm not sure about that either... You would pay more if there were more game.

The players should feel screwed, puts them behind the 8-ball before things even start.

Anybodywho feels screwed by what they pay for any NIU sports tix is simply out of touch with reality. NIU tix are way, way below any of the AQ schools and below many if not most of the nonAQ schools, not to mention professional sports. Get real. So many on this board want NIU to do more but are unwilling to help pay the freight. Donate. Buy tickets. Get friends to go. Let media members know you want to see more coverage. Stop complaining and get behind the program.

Last year it was 6 games for $120
This year it is 5 games for $100

They are charging the same per game price after a BCS appearance.
If you need to save money then buy the HuskieLand tickets and get the $50 Doggy Dollars to break even on parking. If you don't like where those seats are then use the tickets to sit on the East side.

+1

Marshall http://www.herdzone.com/tickets/mars-tic...ootbl.html
Sidline seats (equivalent to our sections B & F) $32.50 per game
Our seats $20 per game

Endzone seats (equivalent to our sections A & G)
Marshall $28.33 per game
Our seats $20 per game

Cheap seats $21.66 per game
Our seats $10 per game with $10 per game voucher for parking or food.

Southern Miss is even more...and before you say they have a better home schedule here it is...TX st, FIU, North TX, FAU & Midd Tenn St...their entire home schedule is of Sun Belt and WAC teams from last year...0 of which went to a bowl. (Mid Tenn should have)

On top of that check out their parking map/fee
http://www.southernmiss.com/eagle-club/m...rking.html
Parking in a lot 1/2 mile away, much further away than the Convo, would cost you a $125 donation.

We have is so good. How can the value be questioned?

I wasn't complaning about the price of tickets as $20 per game is nothing to complain about for NIU football, I just feel like we should at least get an even schedule, 6 home, 6 away.

Last year we had 6 games in dekalb and the soldier field game, and only 5 road games. This happens from time to time ... Some years 7 home games, some years 5 home games.

I don't disagree but we don't have nearly the home schedule that AQ schools have, or most non-AQ schools even. Plus, most of the AQs have 7 or even 8 home games. So the prices should be much less.

Big +1 on this post. Plus his year we should be very happy with the overall schedule. Two games with Big 10 teams within traveling distance of the Chicago area make for a long but doable day trip. Central Mich is a very nice over night that time of year if you like fall colors. That brings it to 8 games for a solid kind of supporter, which I would think folks on this forum are. As for the price,, wait till you see what you get for you money at the Iowa game if any tickets are even available.
