Obama again downplays Benghazi during noon presser.
Obama referred to Benghazi as "an unfortunate incident".04-jawdrop

He also attempted to shift the blame to a alleged budget shortfall by claiming the Congress must approve the requested new funding requests. We all know that when asked...those in charge at the time said they had sufficient resources to protect Benghazi. They just failed to do it. Obama has no shame.03-banghead

He's trying to push a narrative to blame Republicans but so far it's not working, and I don't suspect it will. They're at the point right now where they're trying to throw anything against the wall and hope it sticks. And republicans had nothing to do with him lying about what happened and what the cause was. That's all on them.

They are really off balance right now and in full on damage control mode. The problem is they have had such a long honeymoon from the press they've never had to deal with this.

I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like Obama is counting on his followers to resume being intentionally stupid.

So you think it was the tax and spend Democrats that wanted to cut funding? Seems to me that it was the guys that want this country to go with austerity would be the ones that wanted the budget cut, don't 'ya think?
