UT official fired amid investigation
UT official fired amid investigation Jenny Wright was fired as Tennessee's director of student judicial affairs.

The University of Tennessee has fired its director of student judicial affairs amid an investigation into whether she engaged in inappropriate relationships with Volunteers student-athletes.

Jenny Wright submitted a letter of resignation on Thursday, according to emails provided to The Associated Press through a public records request. Matthew Scoggins, an assistant general counsel for the university, wrote that the school wouldn't accept her resignation because it wanted her to cooperate with the investigation and respond to the allegations against her.

When Wright opted against appearing at a meeting Monday with provost and senior vice chancellor Susan Martin to address the issue, she was fired. Tennessee sent Wright a letter Monday stating that she was being terminated "for unsatisfactory work-related behavior" and for her "failure to comply with the directives of authorized university officials to cooperate with a university investigation."

"She'd submitted a letter of resignation prior to that, and then the university terminated her," said Robert Kurtz, the lawyer representing Wright.

Wright already has deleted her Facebook and Twitter accounts, and her position is listed as vacant on the school website.

The school declined to name which athlete or athletes Wright may have been involved with, or the nature of the relationships, but according to Knoxville radio host Jimmy Hyams (via Outkick The Coverage), one of them may have been rather well known.

The timing certainly is suspicious. Last Tuesday, the school unexpectedly announced that Golden, a junior and two-year starting guard for the Vols, will be transferring from the school.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that Golden’s transfer was tied to academic issues including "repeated plagiarism,” but Wright’s firing raises more questions about the nature of Golden’s transfer.

I've heard at least two athletes so far, Golden and Kenny Hall, both basketball players. I've seen rumors that there could be up to 10-20 that she was sleeping with.

By the looks of the picture it appears as if the dog just smoked a joint and had it's way with her as well.

Is she the one on the left or the right? One can never be sure with the Vols.

I've seen plenty of pictures of her. She really isn't that hot. Wears an absolute ton of makeup and has a somewhat weird body too.

Sounds like she took CBJ's mantra "Hold the Rope" a little too literally.
