Not bad if it would have been some sort of tournament format, but looks like St. John's will play Columbia only. It's a better not lose game for the Johnnies.

I'd rather play any if those teams instead of Columbia.

Tulane played a game at Barclays this past season (vs Hofstra on Dec. 22) and I heard that it was a big deal for our players and coaches. Glad to hear that Barclays invited us back again.

The Barclays Center is incredibly easy to get to, and is right near a bunch of great bars and restaurants. MSG is a dump compared to Barclays.

If bars and restaurants are your reason for seeking a location, it doesn't get any better than MSG. Barclayis great for local commuters, but its big drawback for a tournament is access to hotels for out-of-towners and limited access to taxis to get around Brooklyn and the rest of The City.

Well to be honest the arena is new and things are still going up around in the area. It's actually quite easy to get to if you want to stay in Manhattan. Brooklyn is the "cool" New York. Right now it is the center of all art in the city. Since all the actual New Yorkers were priced out of Manhattan it became the hip part of town.

Unfortunately that will not be part of the decision making process.
