ESPN adds 15 more MWC football games for 2013
"ESPN has added 15 Mountain West Conference college football games, all on Saturdays, to its 2013 schedule. Kick times and specific networks – including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ABC – will be determined during the season on a 12- or six-day basis.
ESPN previously announced seven Mountain West games for Thursday and Friday night telecasts. Overall, ESPN networks will carry 22 Mountain West home games this season as part of a new multi-year agreement with the conference."

They didn't really add anything - as any of those 7 games listed that says either ESPN/ESPNU/ESPN2 were previously announced. The only news was that ESPN selected the other 15 games and has yet to decide as to what network (or platform) to broadcast those games. They theoretically could all be ESPN3 games.

It shines a little light---but not much. It gives MW school fans an idea as to the maximum any single school could possibly make off the MW National TV bonus. Obviously, the minimum is zero (if your not shown, or all the schools games are on ESPNU or ESPN3). The maximum is the number of times any individual school is going to be involved in an ESPN telecast times 500K. The actua earnings will likely end up being less than the potential maximum.

RE: ESPN adds 15 more MWC football games for 2013
ESPN2 and ESPNU are good bets for many of those, partly because there are several cable systems in the mountain states that don't carry those channels, especially ESPNU, and ESPN likes to pressure those cable cos. by putting games of local teams on those channels. The Pac-12 hoops games aired by ESPN seem to end up on the "U" more often when UU, CU, UA, and/or ASU are involved.
Do the MWC teams get TV bonuses for games on ESPNU? If so, then any game on ESPN 1/2/U is good for the participating teams.

No bonus for ESPN-U. Just CBS (OTA national broadcast), ABC, ESPN, or ESPN-2.
