wow, how bad is the situation at enemasU?
I was reading their scout board and came across a thread about a poll regarding NMSUck football and if they should keep it. I can't find the poll, it is in the las cruces sun news, but here is the gist of it....

38% are in favor of keeping division 1 football
23% are in favor of keeping football, but dropping it down to FCS
34% want to drop it all together
5% graduated from nmsu, had no opinion on the matter, but just wanted to make sure that everyone knew that they didn't give a ****

I'm kinda feeling bad for their fans... ok... I'm not, but still, 57% of them are in favor of not playing division 1 football. Only 60% of them want to continue playing football in some shape or form

From what I read on their board, it doesn't seem their new president is all that thrilled about playing division 1 football either...

I gotta say, it's kind of weird reading a college sports message board, where posters are asking what the proper protocol is for moving their team from fbs to fcs.

The poll has 500 votes, so it is pretty much close to their average football game attendance.

they are slowly realizing that the Aggies suck.

Time they join the UTEP bandwagon, and join the miner nation.

This is an interesting situation because if they drop down to FCS, that would presumably increase the budget of their basketball program. The aggies will still suck, as always, but they will get tougher on the hardwood if this happens.

And here I thought their fball was partially subsidizing all other sports, including bball.

Their bball attendance isn't very impressive either IMO.
