I would think nu v NIU would be a coin flip. Fitz has done great things with their program after the untimely death of Randy Walker

Tulane is next at #112.

Quote:UP NEXT

This team's coach served as an assistant on teams that reached a BCS bowl and the Super Bowl.

Curtis Johnson

New Orleans Saints, WR Coach - 2006-2011
2009 Super Bowl

Miami (FL), WR Coach 1996-2005
2001 - Sugar Bowl
2004 - Orange Bowl

EDIT: UT-El Paso is #112. For at least the second time, Paul's clue fit more than one team, I chose the wrong one. But the clue also worked for Tulane.

They had a split NC in 1990 with GaTech

They were really good in the early 90s and pretty decent in the early 2000s, but have seemed to fall off the face of the earth these past few years.

Cool hint! My sister lived off Montague for a few years, amazing shops and views of Manhattan with rents that would make most gasp.

Down to #107 and looking like many mid-tier MAC teams to be in that 80-100 range. Based on his final 2012 re-rank he still has Hawaii (114), UAB (110), Army (108), BC (107), and Colorado St (100) out there. Kansas (113), Kentucky (109), Auburn (106), and USF (103) were also low but I doubt he'd put more than 1 or 2 of those under 100 again.

Thanks.

Auburn of the "almighty SEC" is next at #107.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 107?
This team's tight ends coach will help his current team take on his alma mater on the first Saturday of November.

Auburn plays @Arkansas on Sat. Nov. 2.

Auburn TE coach is Tim Horton.

Tim Horton graduated from Arkansas where he played football from 1986-89.

EDIT: Of course when someone compliments me on figuring out the clues I screw one up. Colorado State was #107, but Auburn fit the clue as well. Oh, that tricky tricky Paul. Paul could have said that "his current team will HOST his alma mater" and that would have eliminated Auburn.

Colorado State plays Boise State on Sat. Nov. 2.

Colorado State TE coach is Art Valero.

Art Valero graduated from Boise State in 1981.

Paul got me again with #107, so I will say that I THINK that Army is next at #106. What gives me pause is his use of "university" in the clue, as Army is a Military Academy and not a University per se.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 106?
This university pitched a shutout in its first home game at its current stadium, beating a school which shuttered its football program in 1949.

Army plays at Michie Stadium, which opened its doors in 1924.

Army's first home game in 1924 was a 17-0 shutout victory over St. Louis University.

St. Louis University fielded a football team from 1899 to 1949.
