Seriously, NBC is very intriguing because of their heavy soccer focus. MAC soccer could really take off with the proper marketing plan and exposure. Start bringing in MORE of that Euro talent.

Way ahead of you.

Touché.

Fixed above.

+1

We are under contract with ESPN thru 2016. ESPN is not going to give up even MAC basketball inventory to go to FS1 or NBC-C.

ESPN is going to give us CUSA money, maybe more, just so our Basketball inventory does not go to FS1 or NBC-S as their filler.

One other thing I want to see...
Other than more money for the MAC I want ESPN3.com lose first tier rights to our football games. If our schools want to pay to put the game on TV then we should have the opportunity.

Men's soccer would be very interesting and MAC wrestling would be as well with Old Dominion, Missouri and Northern Iowa in the conference.

I'm not sure if ESPN views MAC basketball as an important product to keep locked up in the portfolio. The MAC is like the 15th rated conference every year behind the 9 FBS leagues, WCC, BE, A10, MVC and CAA.

Here is what I would like to see...

NBCSN: olympic sports, basketball, 8 FB games (1 mil per school)
ESPN: Midweek FB games, GOTW (500k per school)

I think its important that the MAC stays with ESPN for football for recruiting. NBC can drop in and provide 1 game a week in September-October when ESPN isn't really interested in the content.
