Disagree...it's very likely...eventually. There is ALWAYS more movement. Realignment has never stopped...in the history of college football. Now, how long is "eventually"? Don't know. My guess is 2-3 years at most.

Right now Big 12 makes $26 million per team.
What Team in the AAC, Sun, WAC, Mac, Conf USA can bring that?
Here's the answer: Zero, zilch, nada, none!
All will B quiet from the Big 5 for 12 years
Then the next 'rumble will begin

That's not how it works. A team can make peanuts in one conference, switch conferences, and make much more. It happens all the time. They don't have to "bring" that. This has actually happened many times, if you have been paying attention.

Yes, and I thought everybody realized this when the new AAC-ESPN deal was signed. That valued us at, on average, $1.7 million per year. That humbling experience should have told every single school in the AAC, mine included, that to the media companies, NONE of us is worth much.

Thats reallly kind of irrelevant. We dont get anything because we have no anchor schools. Move Texas and Oklahoma to the AAC and we would all be getting around 20 million each. The Kings and Queens give the conference value. The #11 and #12 pawns dont drive conference value in any power conference. If I remember correctly, it doesnt matter who the Big-12 adds--the networks have written a clause into the contract saying the existing B-12 schools will not see a drop the per-school earnings by going to 12. But thats just gurantees media money--the BCS money will decrease per school when it is cut more ways. More importantly, the Big-12's second best team will end the season with a loss if the Big-12 adds a CCG. That could very well affect the Big-12's ability to place 2 teams in the playoff (or BCS bowl).

...cause you know they will consider us to join. Seriously, we'll be a part of the discussion.

Words of wisdom.... That's exactly what I stated in post #136. I can't believe how fans keep devaluing and belittling schools in this conference because of a bad tv deal. Replace TCU and Balyor with Houston and SMU in the B12 and both schools would make over $20 mil a year. Place TCU and Balyor in the AAC, both schools wouldn't raise the value of this conference. In fact, let's also add Texas Tech and OSU to the AAC and the value still wouldn't change.

Agree, only simpletons think in those terms. The SEC, B12, P12, and Big10 and even ACC have MULTIPLE big brand names like Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, Virginia Tech, UNC, USC, Oregon, etc who "carry the weight" of the rest of the conference. Fact of the matter is the MAC, SBC, CUSA, AAC (sans MAYBE UConn) and MWC (sans MAYBE Boise),

For example.....

Houston is easily interchangeable with Baylor.
Colorado State is easily interchangable with Colorado.
Boise would be an on the field improvement over Wazzu.
ECU could be interchangeable with Wake Forest, an improvement on fanbase.
Cincy is a big on the field/court improvement over schools like Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern.
UConn would be an upgrade over Boston College.

Anyone who says otherwise is clueless on the matter as the latter schools' listed simply benefitted from right place, right time.

It simply boils down to wrong place, wrong time for many of the upper echelon non power 5 schools.

Alright guys, move along. This thread SHOULD be on the Conference Realignment forum. If you have anything more to say, say it there.
