I'll let another GSU poster with more tailgating experience answer this correctly, but we have plenty of space for your RV's (outside of our tailgate lot), its just a matter of where they will put you, we will have a LOT more visiting fans now so I'm sure there is some sort of plan in place.

Yep. My suggestion would be to speak with the ticketing office when you pre-order tickets. I know they've even put together a separate parking area when we've had a large group of campers from an opponent.

TROY does have such a place. It's a parking lot that was designed with electrical hookups and such specifically for it. It's part of our "Tailgate Terrace" and it sits directly across the street from the baseball and football stadiums.

So Troy owns it, nice. How much do they charge to hook up?

Yes, Troy owns it. I'm not sure how much they charge but I know it's quite pricey. I've been discouraged about the lack of participation by people in that particular part of the tailgating experience though. And I think it's because of the price. Another Trojan may be able to give you the costs associated with it.

Cajuns have specific reserved areas for RVs. As someone mentioned, if anyone intends to bring one as a visiting team, it would be good to check with the ticket office first. I know in the past they have designated areas for visiting teams fans.

ULM has a spot in the Grove designated for RVs (colored purple on the map).

I believe it's 1200 bucks " donation" to park or hook up for RV access at tailgate terrace at TROY.

That must be the price if you are owning that spot for one year.

I know many Cajun fans who would easily pay this much for an RV spot. There is currently a waiting list for all tailgating spots around Cajun Field. Everything is reserved and a donation to the RCAF is required.

We have closer parking that the RV parking..... The most expensive is by the Stadium press box and it 5,000 a season to park there.

RE: Do you have places for RV's by your stadium?
This is a map of Cajun Field parking. Like I said previously, all TG and parking spots shown are reserved except for the areas marked 'G'. This is general admission but I believe the parking Nazis only allow cars and traditional TGing in this area and all other parking areas (no tents). For games with large visiting crowds the university has typically set aside an area for visiting fans with RVs and large tents. I have seen the Cajundome parking lot (off picture to the right) set aside for this purpose, but if there is an event at the dome that weekend then visitors are moved elsewhere.
