I think Danny White will be more of a comeback player of the year. For defense, it should be whoever fills the Marvin Burdette sized hole in the middle of our defense or whoever can get to the QB. I'm hoping for big senior seasons from Bastien and Boyett. Maybe Jay Davis can break out on defense too.

If McGee can stick with the combo of JP and Franklin, I can see them as a dangerous combo for offense. Ganus, Slaughter, and Rabb on defense. They all have breakout potential.

Any hope for a real "break out" season in 2013 will have to center on whoever becomes the "star" QB. Those above have the defense pretty well figured.

IMO I think the breakout player will be on D should it play up to it's potential. I think the O will be more balanced between pass & run calls (at least they'll try for it but all plans never survive first contact). Now if you consider Darrin just reached 1000yds last year w/ most of the effort in the last half of the season so with a full season he may get 1500 +/-, so in that case you may say him. So in otherwords, as of right now anyone could be the breakout player as we won't know till the season is mostly over if not over

That Pickren kid better play well!

I am also looking forward to seeing Victor Salako continue to improve this fall and really help us with pass protection and run blocking.
