O.k. someone help me out here. Is this about ACC teams ONLY or is this about ACC teams vs any conference?
I'm getting confused because of the FSU vs V Tech game which actually was ACC vs Big East and the FSU vs Miami games, the classic ones, were also ACC vs Big East. I also think there were a couple of classic FSU vs Miami games that happened before the Noles joined the ACC.

Florida_State, I'm assuming its ACC vs ACC and ACC vs OOC/Bowl Game.

It's anything you want... my intention was any "big game" involving at least one ACC team, and preferably a game which was a turning point in ACC football history.

Florida State's first conference loss to Virginia 33-28. Tiki Barber rushed for almost 200 yds that game. FSU was close to something like 30-0 in the conference

That huge Maryland comeback win over a Top 10 ranked Miami Hurricanes team. Someone will have to look this one up but I know Miami was shutting out Maryland at the half. I just cant remember the year or the final score, it was something like 47-42 I think. Miami was winning like 35-0 at the half or 33-0, not sure.

1994 Choke at Doak Florida State vs Florida

FSU vs NC State in Double OT. Phillip Rivers was the QB, passed for almost 500 yds, that's all I remember. FSU won in a shootout

That game still bothers me. I vividly recall sitting in that miserable rain watching Donovan rip the Tigers apart. I've been waiting a long time for Clemson and Syracuse to play again so I can move past that incident. :) Heck, even if Clemson falls on their face and doesn’t win, I’d at least like to see a field goal or safety on the board.

Talk about not getting over a game, I will never forgive that Auburn coach for going for the field goal to tie the game, rather than trying to win the dog on game. Some say that SU could have been in consideration for the national championship if they won that game.

Also relevant in this case was the Sugar Bowl that took place that same day. Pitt did Clemson a huge fava that day...
