GaSo's offense thead 2
GaSo's spread option offense is not perfect but it has won games for us the past 26 years when we’ve run it. I give you 2 examples from 8 tries at a national championship against the best that FCS had to offer for the 1-aa playoffs.

In the first video skip to the 4 minute mark and watch GSSU pick apart Furman with the passing game. This is for those of you that think GSU can’t pass from the spread formation. Skip to 4:00 minutes & Furman leads 28-6 and we defeat them with outstanding passing from our QB Tracy Ham

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUhrp2Gjnv4

Yes we can pass, but we like to run the ball. In the 1999 National Championship we ran the ball for 600 yards & passed for 15. In 1999 & 2000 we averaged 430 yards rushing, 120 yards passing yard & 50 points per game over 15 games.

It was my fist post.....Sory but:
(1)The title “OFFENSE” in a prior was ambiguous.
(2) Most of the posters were incorrect when they doubt our passing game.

Welcome to the board! And don't worry... stick around for a bit. Almost every thread turns into discussion on Georgia Southern and their offense and how they are going to run through this conference from day one.

Good to see you finally made it over TALON, that is TALON with ALL CAP fellow Sun Belt posters. If you do not watch out TALON will lead you to the Georgia Southern promise land.

Atlanta Trojan you better keep and eye on this fellow because there is no telling what he will post.

1 - It's Grateful Dead
2 - It's ok you guys have a "cult" following and you're enthusiastic on the board but it is a Sun Belt Board, not a GaSouthern Board.
3 - We don't need repeated threads on the TO. We all know what it is and 16 threads on the subject won't change our answers or reactions to or about it.
4 - If this is the only topic you guys can bring or talk about, I find that awfully sad.

I just don't get the point of the thread.

Great. You can pass within the triple option. Ok. So what?

Your record in FCS is impressive. But you'll be FBS soon, and those titles in FBS mean... well, nothing.

Well, well well, if it isn't the Lord of the Sith himself. You're in rare company boys and girls. I give you the progenitor of the pseudo rivalry. Hang on kids because logic just took a smoke break and you're about to see the SBC in a funhouse mirror.

CatMom
thank your for correcting me on point #1
On point #2 GS offense does have a cult following. Georgia Southern is a member of the Sun Belt therefore if we are going to become the rulers of the conference football world we should also control the conferences board. it is only right. Now if other conference members do not want GS poster to take over the board they should just post more.
I will give you point #3. Therefor I ask that the thread be renamed

Welcome GSUsTALON or Is Georgia Southern offense a Cult

Point #4 it is the off season and we are different from the other member schools

This triple option circle jerk is getting old fast.
