RE: NFL DRAFT
On another note I think we performed pretty well in the OB considering the fact that FSU has had nine players drafted thus far. Clearly their roster has NFL talent from top to bottom and I think we competed very well with them at just about every position.

So Lynch is bad too?
If somebody took Lynch in the first round of the NFL draft their entire organization should be assassinated. Manuel has 100% more pro potential than Lynch, but using a first round pick on him was nuts.

How does this guy get invited to the combine and get drafted when Martel does not (yet anyway)?

RE: NFL DRAFT
you would think that some of the draft eligible players from niu would get drafted. these seniors have won alot of games. not saying first round talent but 6-7 th round ability. moore and melvin are good enough

The #16 pick in the NFL draft is "bad?" Whatever you say.

Did you watch him play? Did you watch their Florida game? Their fans didn't even like him. He got drafted high because he's big, fast, and has a strong arm. His actual on field play in college wasn't great.

Manuel is one of the biggest dissapointments in FSU history. Have not met one Noles fan who has liked him

Say what you wanna say about EJ or Florida St. Bottom line in the Orange Bowl we played the most talent rich team in the country and played 3 quarters with them. It's crazy that we went 34-8 over 3 years and we had 1 player drafted over that time. CRAZY

RE: NFL DRAFT
EJ Manuel was frustrating for sure...but I love him. He is highly intelligent, always says the right things and never got in trouble. He was the Senior Bowl MVP, won 4 straight bowl games for FSU beating WVU, South Carolina, Notre Dame and NIU. He is erratic for sure and his progressions drove many FSU fans crazy. I give him a break because I am not completely sold on Jimbo as a great OC. I am not sure many fans can ask for a better representative for their school.

EJ will be a great pro. I think he has more talent and a game suited better for the Pros than College. This happens time and time again. He will do just fine.

So this is one Nole fan that loves EJ, and now this makes 2 first round QBs Jimbo has coached. While I am proud of this fact, and that FSU now has 11 players drafted this year (more than any other team), it certainly frustrates me to no end. I can't think of any school that has two NFL first Round QBs and doesn't at least play for a national title. FSU has so much talent and depth. The team next year actually is stronger than this year's team.

I think most Buffalo fans will be happy in the coming years too. By the way, Buffalo now has 7 former FSU players on the roster, after drafting our kicker as well.

They don't draft people based on how they did in college. If they did, Wolfe would have been a first rounder. How many chances did Britt Davis get in the NFL, even though he dropped a lot of passes and wasn't even that good in college.

Only 4 picks to go. Still no Huskies. Colts have Mr. Irrelevant again. Could it be Melvin?
